APT is a community-based employment program that provides training and support to individuals with multiple barriers helping them find and maintain meaningful employment. The barriers they may be facing include:
- Physical barriers such as mobility limitations and adaptations, vision or hearing impairments.
- Mental Health that impact employment.
- Neurodivergence (Autism, ADHD, Learning diversities, etc.)
- Substance Use Recovery
- Housing Stability
- Legal System Involvement.

The goals of our APT (A Person-centered and Tailored skills to work program) are to:
- Support people facing multiple barriers to employment to acquire the skills and opportunity to gain employment
- Provide support which assists people to secure and maintain sustainable employment
- Provide employability and life-skills workshops, safety certificate and skills enhancement training, and supported work experience
Admission criteria:
- Be 18 years of age or older
- Live in British Columbia, and be a Canadian citizen, permanent resident, or protected person legally entitled to work in Canada
- Be unemployed, underemployed, or employed in a low skilled occupation
- Not participating in another government-funded labour market program, and not a full-time student
- Additional eligibility requirements may apply
