Due to Covid-19, volunteering is a little different. Our requirements are that all volunteers must be double vaccinated, send in a resume and cover letter. If you are interested in volunteering see the opportunities below or email volunteer@jhsok.ca

Our volunteer and practicum positions provide unique learning opportunities and hands-on experience. We provide students and community members with the opportunity to gain practical knowledge and work experience to meet their goals.
We value the contributions of our volunteers and practicum students, and they are an essential part of the John Howard team. They continue to positively contribute to our ability to serve vulnerable community members.
Current opportunities are listed below, but we are always open to building new and flexible volunteer opportunities that meet the needs of our service users and the interests of prospective volunteers. To learn more about how you may be able to contribute to our work, get in touch with us at volunteer@jhsok.ca
